Counseling and Guidance

Welcome Students & Parents!

We look forward to serving you this school year.

The Mission of the Woodrow Wilson Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program that empowers all students to excel in academics, career, emotional and social aspirations, and to reach their potential growth and success.

Our vision is for all students to experience the academic success that propels them towards graduation and the choice for college and/or the workforce.

Dallas County Promise 2022-2023

All graduating seniors are required to take the Promise Pledge, which does not commit you to a school but ensures you to receive the Promise or Dallas Rising Star Scholarships. To see a list of schools participating in the Dallas County Promise, click here.

 FAFSA/TAFSA News

Starting with the 2021-2022 school year, all graduating seniors are required to complete the FAFSA for the 2023-2024 school year. FAFSA opened up October 1, 2022 and students are encouraged to apply early to ensure they are able to receive funding.
